 This process must be done exactly as
detailed below. If you are unsure if you can do it properly,
or if you have version 3.7 or newer, you may want to have us
work on a consulting basis to help you, as incorrect setup can
cause problems with your website.
- You must use the information that
came to you in the "Welcome to LinkPoint API" email
(NOT the "Welcome to Virtual LinkPoint" email).
- Create a .pem file
- Select the whole key file in the email
which starts with "-----BEGIN RSA" and ends with "END
CERTIFICATE-----" Be sure there are exactly 5 dashes and
no spaces at the beginning and also at the end. If you
leave off any of the "-" or add a space it will not work.
- Copy this into a program like Notepad
which will not alter the formatting of the information.
- Save this file as "csikey.pem" (If you
have more than 1 store you can name the .pem file
something else like "csikey2.pem" so that you can keep
track of all of them. BUT... the file name MUST end in
".pem"
- IMPORTANT: Make a backup of this file
and save on your computer, and/or save the email that had
the original information in it.
- Install the .pem file on the remote
server
- ShopZone creates a "private_html"
folder which is on the same level as the "public_html"
folder. In this "private_html" folder, create a subfolder
named "csi"
- Upload (using an ftp program like
ftpvoyager.com) the "csikey.pem" file you created into
this "csi" subdirectory
- Configure ShopZone to work with Card
Service
- In ShopZone go to "File" then "Web
Properties" then to the "ISP" tab.
- Click the "Select" button, and making
sure that the correct config name is still selected in the
window, click "View". BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN WORKING WITH
THIS FILE, as any accidental or incorrect changes can ruin
your website.
- Click the "Payment" tab.
- Payment Processing: Select "True"
- Payment Method: Select "ClearCommerce"
- ClearCommerce Merchant ...: In this
first field, put the CSI user ID (probably 6 numbers)
- ClearCommerce Merchant...: In this 2nd
field, type
"/web/yourmoonsliceusername/private_html/csi/csikey.pem
for example it might look like
"/web/ibm/private_html/csi/cskiey.pem" if "ibm" was the
username we assigned you when you started hosting with us.
- ClearCommerce Na...: Type "secure.linkpt.net"
- Save Changes
- Be sure you "validate" (in
Shopzone Payment Methods) any of the payment methods that
will go through the CardService gateway - usually all of the
credit cards, but not "check" or "cashier's check".
